El diagn\u00f2stic es basa en els signes i s\u00edmptomes, hist\u00f2ria cl\u00ednica i les proves de cap, coll, cara i mand\u00edbula.<\/p>\n<p><strong>La \u201cT\u201d a T.M.D. representa l&#8217;os temporal, la M a la mand\u00edbula i la D per dissordir o disfunci\u00f3<\/strong> d&#8217;aquest sistema.<\/p>\n<p>Fem servir aquest sistema per a moltes activitats (parlar, menjar, badallar, riure) per\u00f2 quan no estem realitzant aquestes activitats, hem de permetre que els m\u00fasculs de la mand\u00edbula i el coll estiguin relaxats.<\/p>\n<p>El <strong>bruxisme<\/strong> \u00e9s l&#8217;h\u00e0bit involuntari d&#8217;estr\u00e8nyer o grinyolar les dents sense un prop\u00f2sit funcional.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>S\u00edmptomes del Bruxisme<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Estr\u00e8s i ansietat.<\/li>\n<li>Dolor de la mand\u00edbula i la Sien.<\/li>\n<li>Hipertr\u00f2fia dels m\u00fasculs masticatoris (m\u00e0ster, temporal).<\/li>\n<li>Dolor de coll.<\/li>\n<li>Mal de cap (cefalea).<\/li>\n<li>Tinnitus o Ac\u00fafenos (Xiu a l&#8217;o\u00efda).<\/li>\n<li>Dolor a les dents.<\/li>\n<li>Fractures dentals.<\/li>\n<li>Trastorn del somni.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2>Recomanacions per reduir el dolor dels trastorns tempor mandibulars i el Bruxisme:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Si bruxes \u00e9s molt important utilitzar una<strong> f\u00e8rula de desc\u00e0rrega nocturna<\/strong>, us ajudar\u00e0 a reduir els s\u00edmptomes i no desgastar les teves dents.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Aplica&#8217;t calor<\/strong> a les \u00e0rees doloroses, com les galtes, el coll i la zona dels trapezis. Durant 20 minuts unes dues o quatre vegades al dia. La <strong>calor humida<\/strong> penetra m\u00e9s profunda. Pots obtenir-lo mullant un drap fi amb aigua calenta. O embolicant-ho amb una tovallola una ampolla d&#8217;aigua calenta.<\/li>\n<li>\u00c9s recomanable menjar aliments tous com guisats, conserves de fruites, sopes, ous i iogurt.<\/li>\n<li>Cal evitar <strong>mastegar xiclet i menjar aliments durs<\/strong> (per exemple, pastanagues crues) o aliments masticables (per exemple, caramels, carn i panets). I has de tallar els aliments a trossos petits, uniformement, dividir el menjar en ambd\u00f3s costats de la boca i mastegar amb tots dos costats.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Eviteu la cafe\u00efna<\/strong> perqu\u00e8 estimula la contracci\u00f3 dels m\u00fasculs i els mant\u00e9 en tensi\u00f3. Els llavis estan lleument junts sense pressi\u00f3 o un mil\u00b7l\u00edmetre separats, i les dents de dalt separades 1mm de les dents de baix, \u00e9s a dir, sense contacte oclusal. Aquesta col\u00b7locaci\u00f3 de la llengua permet donar descans a la musculatura de la mand\u00edbula i no comprimir l&#8217;articulaci\u00f3 de la mand\u00edbula.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Prengui conscient i revisi els seus h\u00e0bits d&#8217;estr\u00e8nyer o grinyolar.<\/strong> El m\u00e9s com\u00fa \u00e9s estr\u00e8nyer les dents en moments d&#8217;estr\u00e8s, en conduir o quan est\u00e0s concentrat&#8230;. Ha de revertir aquest estat i mantenir els m\u00fasculs relaxats, les dents separades i la llengua lleugerament recolzada sobre el sostre de la boca just darrere dels dents superiors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2>Evitar els h\u00e0bits que sotmetin a una tensi\u00f3 innecess\u00e0ria al coll, els m\u00fasculs i les articulacions:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Mossegar les galtes, llavis, ungles, cut\u00edcules,<\/strong> o qualsevol altre objecte que vost\u00e8 pugui posar a la boca.<\/li>\n<li>No empenyeu la llengua contra les dents. Aquestes activitats afavoreixen que la seva mand\u00edbula estigui en una posici\u00f3 inc\u00f2moda i tensa.<\/li>\n<li>Evita obrir la boca en exc\u00e9s o mantenir-la oberta molta estona, com badallar, cridar o procediments dentals perllongats.<\/li>\n<li>La postura del cap exercir un paper important en els s\u00edmptomes de T.T.M. (Trastorns TemporoMandibulars). Temporal i masseter.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Treball global:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Evitar parafuncions (activitats que no s\u00f3n funcionals) que desencadenen el problema.<\/li>\n<li>Treballar globalment tot l&#8217;entorn cervical, mand\u00edbular; \u00e9s a dir, sempre que trobem un problema de l&#8217;articulaci\u00f3 temporomandibualar (ATM), aquest engloba no nom\u00e9s l&#8217;articulaci\u00f3 de la mand\u00edbula, sin\u00f3 tamb\u00e9 altres articulacions adjacents: columna cervical i escapulotor\u00e0cica.<\/li>\n<li>Guanyar mobilitat de la mand\u00edbula i la cervical.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Basat en la causa que provoca els teus s\u00edmptomes, es realitzar\u00e0 un tractament o un altre per\u00f2 sempre individualitzat.
